If possible make Quicktime's mov files playable. Then I will not need the sucky Quicktime player.
I hope it'll provide the same/similar functionalities as Media Player Classic,which is, imho, very lightweight and responsive, and a delight to use.
While some people may call Microsoft a copy cat, I for one do not see anything wrong with trying to improve one's product for the benefit of its users. If anything, I personally commend the attitude to learn from existing products.
If anyone does not want Microsoft copying their software for free, just patent whatever breakthrough your software might have, and let Microsoft license the patent.

I'd like to see this like Media Player Classic, and I'd like to see it with the same Codec support as well so I could continue to use CCCP (Combine Community Codec Pack) which is imo the best codec pack around.
