you obviously have no idea that you can change it to scientific mode...

If you've actually used the calculator in the scientific mode before, then you'd know it's still a POS.

Calculator has Basic, Scientific, Programmer and Statistic mode.
But you can also calculate diffrence between dates, converting units use some build-in templates.

If you need more feature or its not scientific enoughe for you, then use a 3rd party software instead.
